Welcome to this first issue of Lorihajitura with articles every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 15:00 GMT.

Lorihajitura Magazine Issue 001

It’s a teenage rampage in this maiden issue! From hot rods to hep cats, hippies to delinquents: bad boys and fast girls are cutting loose.

Over the next eight weeks, we’ll explore the twilight world of coffee bars, showcase iconic exploitation films like Faster Pussycat Kill! Kill!, Psychomania, and I Was a Teenage Werewolf. We’ll teach you how to speak hippie, beatnik, jazz, and Nadsat. We’ll also delve into the minds of out-there artists like Hasil Adkins and Stu Phillips, and figure out what Dr Timothy Leary meant by Turn On, Tune In, and Drop Out.

We’ll appreciate The Cake – the greatest girl band you’ve never heard of, and freak out to Beatnik movies. Wild, man! We’ll caution you to never leave the house or touch things in our exploration of UK Public Service Announcements, and let Quincy tell you why the music is killing the kids!

All this and more in Lorihajitura!
